a little bit of Seattle in the heart of Arizona
Please take the tour
of the room that houses my
Alice in Chains and Jerry Cantrell collections.
Below are a series of fish eye lens photos taken by
my good friend Marty.
I was never able to capture the real size of the room
with a normal 35 mm lens.
He took these more panoramic photos to get a more complete view.
Thanks Marty!
This is the view when you walk into the room. I have covered the walls with an array of posters, photographs and other promotional items.
We tried to keep things organized so it would
look clean and not cluttered.
I have more items not on displays. Those items have been or will be scanned for the next page. Also included will be close ups of the items seen on this page.
Looking to the right, you will see items from Jar of Flies, the Self Titled and the Unplugged albums. I painted the walls to match
the background on the Unplugged album. It is a good match.
On the grey walls, I have my collection of press photos.
From the beginning of the their career to their last efforts.
Trying to use all of the space possible. I hung my collection of
promo flats from the ceiling.
Everything from Singles the movie to Boggy Depot is represented.
To the right is a huge vinyl banner promoting Dirt.
The blue hockey jersey is from the movie Clerks. You berzerkers!
Here are posters and other items from Facelift and Dirt.
These are my favorites among of all the posters.
The colors and images really stand out.
It took me quite a few years to collect them all.
These items are from the last albums released by Sony. I also tried
to have a little of everyone's solo or promotional work displayed too.
This is the view from the back of room.
These are the majority of my
press photos. From the top right with a slightly Glam looking Alice. To the Nona Tapes sessions at the bottom. The montage spans the career of the band.
When I started this collection
it was all about fun.
It means so much more to me now. I have always loved to
shut myself away in here.
I would listen to the music and just feel so comfortable in
my surroundings.
Now, it reaffirms so much more my love of Alice in Chains.
Please click on the link below
for more of my collection.
Which includes postcards, promotional items, photos,
fan club items and much more!
The Unplugged display from a music store is my prize AIC piece. It took a long time to find and unfortunately is not complete.
It is missing its base.
It has a little cardboard cutouts of the band as they played on
MTV's Unplugged.
The little bins are excellent for holding my promo cd single collection.
